I'm not a financial coach and I'm not going to tell you to be more disciplined. I built Sale Armor because I kept buying things I didn't need, at hours I shouldn't have been shopping. Clothes with the tags still on. Books I was definitely going to read.
Willpower didn't fix it. Budgeting apps didn't either — they were very good at showing me the damage after it was done.
So I made the thing I actually wanted: something that closes the shopping apps before the moment arrives, and holds whatever I still want for three days so I have to decide twice.
